Hesper Dickson was born and raised in Brevard, North Carolina, a town that’s deeply rooted in her heart. While Brevard is in her blood, she didn’t settle here without first exploring other parts of North Carolina. She attended Appalachian State University in Boone and later lived in Asheville until 2001. Eventually, she returned to Brevard—a decision that felt like coming home.

Hesper’s love for Brevard goes beyond its scenic beauty. She cherishes the town’s vibrant, year-round community that remains lively even after the leaves fall. Brevard’s restaurants and shops stay open, offering plenty of options for dining and shopping. Whether it’s choosing between the many amazing restaurants or enjoying the thriving arts scene, Hesper finds joy in all the little things that make her hometown special. During her time serving on the Arts Council Board, she gained a deeper appreciation for the immense talent within the community and her dedication to fostering its growth.

Hesper’s real estate journey began in 2011 when she teamed up with Billy Harris. Over the years, their partnership has flourished, and as the team has expanded, Hesper has taken on the role of Operations Manager. She focuses on marketing properties, managing specialist real estate websites and client databases, coordinating real estate transactions, and handling general office administration. She thrives on helping clients, whether representing buyers or sellers and ensuring smooth and successful real estate experiences.

Hesper is also an active volunteer with Sharing House in Brevard, reflecting her deep commitment to giving back to her community.

When she’s not busy with real estate, you’ll find Hesper riding her gravel bike, hiking the beautiful trails of Western North Carolina, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen. Her passion for the community, expertise, and dedication make her an invaluable part of Team Billy Harris.
